Koozies - The Perfect Gift

By Robert Liddle

When holidays, birthdays, and special anniversaries roll around at least one person in every household finds themselves at a loss for what to get a certain special someone. One gift that many people who have hit a stumbling block might consider is a koozie. Koozies are great for keeping a beverage either cold or hot for long periods of time. With koozies becoming more popular it is not that hard to purchase personalized koozies that have special phrases, pictures, or designs.

Many football and sports enthusiasts will consider koozies to be an especially thoughtful gift. Koozies are very popular at games and sports played outdoors and are often used to hold beer cans or hot chocolate cups. When getting a koozie for a football or sports fan finding a team logo or player number usually is not that hard to do. If a specific player or team koozie can not be found it is entirely possible to have one made. Some enthusiasts own photos that they were able to take with, or of, their favorite players which can be placed on koozies.

Outdoors sports men and women are also people to keep in mind when thinking of using koozies for gifts. Many hunters and fishers would like nothing more than a way to keep a drink cold in the hot sun. These koozies can be customized with pictures of animals, rifles, or anything else related to sport. Pictures taken while hunting or fishing can also be a great addition to a special koozie gift.

There are many different ways to use koozies as a gift. Koozies come in many different shapes and sizes to fit bottles as well as cans. Large bottle koozies that can fit a wine bottle are great to give with a nice bottle of wine. They are also made to fit bottles of water of all sizes which is a great gift for athletes of all sorts. Many cross country and long distance runners like to have a koozie handy that can keep their water bottles cold during their runs.

When giving a koozie to a runner it is possible to have them customized in a variety of ways. The koozie can have the runners name printed onto the material along with anything else that might be desirable. Some runners like to have the date of a specific competition printed on their koozies or photos taken during a competition. In addition to giving koozies to people during other holidays and anniversaries they can also be created and given out in bulk during certain events.

Many corporations give koozies inscribed with their companies name and logo during various giveaways or events that are sponsored by the company. At concerts it is not unusual to see the companies that are sponsoring the event giving away koozies near beverage stands. They can also be given away at birthday parties, company picnics and other small events when it is appropriate to give guests a party favor or two. Purchasing customized koozies is not as expensive as one might think especially when purchased in bulk.
